Grey Matter Cup Taster Competition 2026

The one and only Grey Matter Cup Taster Competition is back!

The Cup Tasters Competition awards the coffee cuppers who demonstrate speed, skill, and accuracy in distinguishing the taste differences in specialty coffees.

Bring back the upgrades this year for 2026, which means more cups per round and better, tighter coffee selection! 

Registration Details  

Registration starts from today Saturday, 15 August 2026 until midnight Sunday, 20 September 2026.  All registered cuppers will then have 48 hours to confirm payment and if no payment is received, the next slot will be offered to the next backup candidate.

Early Bird registration from today until Friday, 11 September 2026 up, 11.59pm will get a $5 discount at checkout!

All competing cuppers will receive the following pack on competition day (Hopefully with more stuff as sponsors coming in!)

1. Certificate of Participation
2. Participation Pack which includes a custom laser-engraved Grey Matter cupping spoon.
